Landing Page / Jump Pages / Squeeze Pages?

These web pages are sales pages that limit the options of the prospect which increases the likelihood of them taking action. 

Have you ever been shopping and been asked "Can I help You today"?

Let me guess what your answer was - "No, I'm just looking, thanks". 

 

The sad thing is that you are looking for something and you do need help and have questions.

Now take the same above scenario but let's tweak the question the salesperson is asking. 

How about the following questions instead:

  •  "Hello, Is this your first time here?"
  • "Are you shopping for yourself or someone else today?"
  • "Do you know about are 2 for 1 promotion today?"

You get the point.  Sometimes we need someone to help us focus in on what exactly it is
we are looking for and take the next logical step.

This is what Landing pages do - they take away all the options and force or "squeeze" the customer
into make a decision or leaving.
